1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using CleanTube ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension.

2. Description of Service

CleanTube is a browser extension for Google Chrome that modifies the YouTube user interface to block ads, hide Shorts, provide focus tools, and track viewing habits. The Extension operates entirely within your browser and does not access, store, or transmit data to external servers.

3. License

CleanTube is provided as a free, proprietary software product. You are granted a non exclusive, non transferable license to use the Extension for personal purposes. You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Extension
• Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the Extension
• Use the Extension for commercial purposes without written permission
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring the Extension is compatible with your browser and system
• Understanding that ad blocking may violate YouTube's Terms of Service
• Managing your own data backups via the export feature

5. Intellectual Property

All code, design, branding, and content of CleanTube are the intellectual property of the CleanTube team. The CleanTube name, logo, and visual identity are trademarks.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

CleanTube is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I do not guarantee that:

• The Extension will be error-free or uninterrupted
• The Extension will block all advertisements
• The Extension will remain compatible with future YouTube or Chrome updates
• Any specific features will continue to function indefinitely

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall CleanTube or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Extension, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

8. YouTube Relationship

CleanTube is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, or Alphabet Inc. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC. Use of CleanTube's ad blocking features may be subject to YouTube's own Terms of Service.

9. Updates and Modifications

I may update the Extension at any time to improve functionality, fix bugs, or adapt to platform changes. I may also modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using CleanTube at any time by uninstalling the Extension. I reserve the right to discontinue the Extension at any time without notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
